Description:Serves in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), Collection Requirements Division (CR), Collection Requirements Management Branch (CRM) as a Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)Collection Requirements Manager responsible for providing all-source intelligence information support to the DHS Intelligence Enterprise's homeland security I&A intelligence analysts and DHS component intelligence organizations {i.e, Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Secret Service, Federal Emergency Management, U.S. Coast Guard}. The OSINT Collection Manager receives, evaluates, prioritizes, and processes OSINT intelligence collection requirements fro DHS Intelligence Enterprise, its components, State and Local Fusion Centers (SLFCs) and the intelligence Community (IC). The incumbent provides intelligence assistance and support in the form of individual data, records, and assessments that may shed light on an investigatory target or event which do not require any legal process or any type of clandestine collection techniques(s) to obtain. Rather, it is obtained through means that meet copyright and commercial requirements of vendors, as well as being free of legal restrictions to access by anyone who seeks that information. Additionally, the incumbent develops, and/or prepares briefings, point-papers, talking papers, white papers, or products which include narrative, tabular, graphic, or other media materials. He/she interprets policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and objectives as they relate to DHS.
