Bring your talent and skills to the following IDS group: WLED: The Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is made up of multiple disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer and end user and provide support to these systems through end of life. Job Description: Logistics Engineer and Assistant Whole Life Engineering Lead for the Cobra Judy Replacement Program (CJR). Responsibilities include: * Keeping spares model up to date based on reliability inputs, * Working with IPTs to procure spares, * Serving as the program's subject matter expert in dealing with spares issues * Coordinating supportability issues with subcontractors (IBM) * Interfacing with Major Subcontractor * Interfacing with internal Engineering organizations and Customers to resolve WLED related issues * Supporting the WLE CPT Lead to include PMR preparation and attending CJR Staff meetings as required * Supporting related proposal activity (as required) * Coordinating the Program's Component WLED activity (Safety, Human Factors, Reliability, FRACA, Logistics) to ensure tasks are performed on schedule * Serving as Work Package Manager (WPM) for numerous CJR supportability tasks * Coordinating the Program's WLED activity with the CJR financial leads to ensure EVMS, Rolling Waves, and ETCs are completed as required Basic Qualifications Skills: * Experience in development of Logistics Engineering products such as Logistics Support Analysis Reports, Level of Repair Analysis report and spares modeling. * Ability to plan ILS elements/requirements in support of the radar system. * Ability to work with 6 person WLE team to ensure timely completion of tasking. * Experience in creation of cost proposals. * Strong knowledge of EVMS. * Experience with most of the following WLED disciplines; Control Account Management, Safety Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Training, Return and Repair, Reliability Engineering. Required Education (including major): B.S. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other technical degree or equivalent work experience. Desired Qualifications Skills: * Control Account Management Experience. * Ability to improve current support processes, procedures and philosophies. * Familiarity with Logistics Management Information software applications.
