SR. BUYER, SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment and services
· Prepare bid packages
· Analyze and evaluate proposals
· Negotiate subcontract provisions
· Select or recommend subcontractors
· Issue contracts and administer resulting subcontracts
· Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts
· Participate and assist in developing subcontract policies and procedures
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree with 5+ years experience in subcontracts, preferably in avionics
· Must have knowledge of FAR/DFAR and commercial procurement regulations
· Previous experience in an AS9100/ISO9001 environment
· Must have the ability to work in multi-functional teams
· Cost/Price Analysis knowledge
· Experienced in H/W and S/W development
· Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
· CPM or CPCM certification preferred
