CEi seeks a Business Process Specialist for our Sacramento, CA office.  The Business Process Specialist (BPS) is responsible for leading collaborative business process and business process improvement activities throughout the company.  This position is responsible for driving excellence in business processes and embedding an improvement philosophy in the culture.  The BPS is assigned and executes projects on the Business Process Improvement (BPI) roadmap that meets the company’s short, medium and long-term vision, business strategy, and goals. Key Responsibilities Include:· Identifies and is assigned new business process and business process improvement projects; prepares proposals, including financial justification, for projects that align with business/functional goals and strategies.   Â· Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. · Works cross functionally (and strategically with IT) to focus on business process improvement and the elimination of waste through the use of lean/CI tools.  · Leads multiple improvement projects simultaneously.· Uses project management methodology to manage improvement projects.· Participates as a strong individual contributor to assigned projects.· Reports improvement project status to executive management, project champions, and process owners.· Participates in developing end-user documentation.· Conducts systems training for new technology and methods. Typical Qualifications· Bachelors degree (BS) in Engineering, Business, Finance or related field · 10 plus years experience in a manufacturing, engineering or project management environment; IT experience in applications and systems implementation a plus.· Well-developed skills in initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing a project.· Demonstrated leadership and successful completion of significant business improvement projects.· Must be a strong team leader, good communicator, and be able to perform basic financial analysis.· Effective team leader and strong individual contributor – and willing to do both. · Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office.· Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to new technologies.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Must be a US Citizen or have permanent resident status to live in the US  · Ability to work with people and exhibit exceptional interpersonal, social, practical and diplomatic skills.CEi offers a competitive compensation package that is commensurate with the candidate's education and experience.  Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, voluntary life and long term disability and a company matching 401(k) program.If you are ready to join a fast-paced and dynamic team, please apply via our website at www.compositeeng.com. Click Careers/Openings to view our current job openings.CEi hires qualified candidates who are authorized to work in the U.S. - that is, authorized to work without restriction as to a particular employer.  This includes U.S. citizens, U.S. legal residents, or temporary residents granted legalization under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, and the Homeland Security Act.At CEi we are committed to equal employment opportunity.  We respect, value and welcome diversity in our workforce, as well as in our customers, our suppliers and the global marketplace.  CEi also values being a great place to work and strives to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace.  Accordingly, CEi conditions all offers of employment on a satisfactory completion of a drug screen and a background check according to ITAR regulations.  Equal Employment / Affirmative Action Employer / Drug Free Work Place  Company: Composite Engineering, Inc.
