Business/Strategic Management Relevant Work Experience: Â 2+ to 5 Years Company: Â Battelle Reference Code: Â BT15996 Business Process Analyst - 2 Battelle Corporate Operations is seeking experienced business process analysts (BPA) to join a team charged with transforming our core contract R&D business support processes, business metrics, and organization. The transformation project will be enabled using PeopleSoft version 9.0 Enterprise software. The business process analyst shall work as a team member with IT systems analysts/developers and various functional-area subject matter experts. The Business Process Analyst's responsibilities include: - Provide expertise on business process reengineering teams by mapping "as is" and "to be" business processes, eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements and their drivers, and business process metrics. - Participate in determining what business requirements fit/don't fit within the software. (Fit/Gap) - Develops business process models and simulations, develop and execute test plans including test cases/scripts/scenarios in support of the testing objectives. - Develop of training materials. Some materials will be developed in the PeopleSoft User Productivity Kit (UPK). - Must develop and maintain proficiency in the systems, process analysis tools and methods. - May support the functional end-users after project deployment, and may participate in continuous process improvement initiatives, new requirements development and enhancement projects. - Create end user process and procedure documentation Required Qualifications - Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems, or other business related field. - 3-5 years experience in one or more of the following fields: o A business/operations discipline (e.g., Finance, Contracts, Accounting, Purchasing, Project Control, Project Management, Business Development) o Enterprise Software Functional Consulting role o Business Process Reengineering/Improvement/Management role - Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, - Proficiency in a process mapping tool such as Microsoft Visio - United States Citizenship Preferred Qualifications - Familiar with one or more of PeopleSoft's Enterprise Software modules. or other similar enterprise software such as SAP, JD Edwards, or Oracle. - Familiar with Microsoft Project, SharePoint collaboration software. - Professional Services industry experience.
