Biometric Systems Administrator - TS/SCI required
This position is located in our FL, Tampa facilitySeeking a (Network/Server) Systems Administrator with Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT) experience.Responsible for deployment, operation, enhancement and life cycle management of Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT) system including associated security and screening applications. These applications will specifically allow for the screening and enrollment into the databases of Displaced Persons, Refugees and Evacuees (DPRE) and other persons of interest to the U.S. Government. Responsibilities shall also include providing network support services as they relate to the BAT or associated systems to include support for servers, printers, scanners software, and then assisting the Government in developing and implementing specific End User Training materials and programs for fielded devices and systems as the need for training on these devices or systems is identified. Shall further provide training to End Users at garrisoned or deployed units and locations in both the CONUS and OCONUS as directed by the Government. Such support may include short or long-term deployment to hazardous areas in or near military combat zones. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Test plans and procedures. Operator, user, and maintenance documentation. Configuration management and quality assurance plans. Training materials and presentations for end user support. Plans and reports. Standards and procedures, schedules and other management documentation. ADP documentation, procedures, and support software. Notification of equipment problems. Coordination of the resolution of equipment problems. Software support. Network Maintenance and Operation. End-user support. Database generation and maintenance in Microsoft compatible format. Biometrics network support.TS/SBI SCI Clearance required; Industry-recognized certification required. This is a deployable position reporting to the South East Regional Service Center, under the GDIT-ISD Tampa Area Office. Deployments are within South West Asia and can be of a duration of up to 180 days (90 days are nominal).Certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, MCP are preferred. Network+, Security+, A+ are preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.Minimum of 4 years experience in Windows client and server administration. Minimum of 2 years experience with SQL 2000 applications. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2000 administration and related Microsoft operating systems. Extensive knowledge of administration and securing Windows client and server operating systems on DoDIIS networks. Experience with the use of knowledge management tools. Familiarity with data administration and data standardization policies and standards sufficient to design, develop, and maintain data management systems. Solid working knowledge of IP network components, protocols, and services.TS/SBI SCI Clearance required; Industry-recognized certification required.
