B787 Reliability Technical Lead
Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining. Primary role will be to ensure HS products are Technically Mature prior to Entry-Into-Service (EIS). Define and implement processes to ensure the B787 systems and components address Design for Reliability (DFR). HS focal point for monthly Component Schedule Reliability Analysis (Dispatch), Schedule Interrupt (SI), inputs;Review individual enterprise SI inputs and ensure accuracy and consistent process throughout. Determine if predicted values are satisfactory and achievable. Ensure the Predicted Values will be achieved; review lessons learned to ensure they have been or will be addressed; Assure margin testing and reliability assessments have eliminated or mitigated the (`8weak link(`9 design elements. Monitor Design Changes and assess their impacts on the predicted values - Performance Tracking and In-Service Program Plan; Participate in the review of Qualification/HALT Teardowns; Review Flight Test failures and ensure recommended Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) is implemented and robust; Assure eARs have been addressed; Ensure In-Service Performance (first 12 months of service). Internal Reliability Technical Representative on 787 Platform and Passport reviews. Configuration/Change Control of Development, Flight Test, and Production Hardware, The configuration of all Development, Qualification, HALT and flight test units must be understood relative to proper assessment of how significant retrofits, if any, will have to be implemented; Identify how changes occurring during this testing will affect the 787 Reliability and Repair Turn-Around-Time (TAT) exchange pool hardware requirements as well as customer Initial Provisioning (IP) requirements BA/BS required, MBA/MS preferred *10 years industry related experience *Detail oriented *Able to multi-task and direct support teams *Knowledgeable of HS products (`3 Technically/Operationally *Excellent communications skills *Able to travel United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
