Avionics TechnicianDescription: Volt has an immediate need for an Avionic Technician to work on site at the worlds largest Aerospace company for a 1 year contract. The Avionic Technician will be responsible for the following: Perform analytical inspections, repairs and modifications of structural / avionics / mechanical assemblies on aircraft. Requires the ability to work with Technical Orders, TCTO's, WIR's and read blueprints proficiently. Must be able to determine the proper tools, support equipment and operational procedures needed to achieve all task elements from initial assembly to final product inspection and delivery. Perform work in accordance with Manufacturer, Company, Supplier and other directives, in support of aircraft maintenance and modifications. Must be able to perform work in all weather conditions and required locations. Must perform work in compliance with all support groups and safety policies/procedures. Must be able to perform work inside aircraft as required. Requirements: The following criteria must be met to be qualified for this position: Minimum of 3 - 6 recent years of aviation experience in the related aircraft maintenance fields. Candidates are expected to handle maintenance/inspection documentation. Multiple openings throughout the US. Travel: Relocation required.
