PATS AIRCRAFT IS CURRENTLY SEEKING AN AVIONICS TECH B.

 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform all tasks required for avionics installation techniques.Ability to read wiring schematics and have a good understanding of most aircraft and avionics systems.Possess sound judgment & troubleshooting skills.Inspect, test, adjust, and repair communication, navigation, and flight control systems.Test and replace defective instruments using electricians’ tools and other testing devices.Understanding of all general harness installation procedures.Accomplish planned work in compliance with company procedures and supervisor’s instructions.Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the IPM and proficient with all documents.Troubleshoot and report any unairworthy items to Supervisors that Inspection may have missed.Assures all paperwork requirements are kept current with job progress.Follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to use and understand aircraft M.M., S.B.’s and S.L.’s.Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.Familiarize one self with OP checks and procedures, able to assist with the same.Advise management of issues that require engineering assistance.Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with company standards.Follow guidance & direction from Avionics Supervisors & Department Manager.

 

Necessary Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.  Required to have an understanding of and proficient use of the aircraft manufacturing & installation drawings.  Ability to work extended hours when necessary. 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

· High School graduate or equivalent. 

· Proficient use of basic aircraft and electrical tools.

· Four years work related experience.
