Job description:

Manages financial and operational audits by leading cross-functional teams preparing accounting, statistical, or operational records and/or procedures of internal and/or external organizations to determine the reliability and effectiveness of financial and control systems, material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures. Leads cross functional teams that examine records to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws, agreements, and policies. Prepares status reports regarding various on-going audits as well as presenting executive and member reporting on those audits. May include auditing activities under Sarbanes-Oxley. May support divisions and subsidiaries in evaluating and recommending improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures. Acts as key business project resource in Controllers Organization.

 

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science.

• 14 years of professional experience.

• Experience working with audits under SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley).

• CPA.

• 5 years Audit experience (internal or external).

• Experience working with companies of $1 billion in revenue or greater (internal or external).

• Experience adjudicating audit issues and requirements with external auditors.

 

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with Government Contractors, Defense experience or aerospace experience.

• Experience working with companies of $1 billion in revenue or greater (internal or external).
