Associate Program Planner
Job Category: Project/Program Management Reference Code: 4723~555266 10%- Participates with the assigned program team in meeting contract performance through performing organizations and outside suppliers. 10%-Participates in monitoring program scope, schedules and budget in accordance with applicable contractual and Aerojet policies. 5%-May serve as customer point of contact for specific program elements 5%-May participate in the development or implementation of marketing plans for existing and follow on production programs including proposal development, and submittal 10%-Administers operational budgets and schedules 10%-Provides assistance to project team in meeting established schedules, budgets and issue management. 10%-May analyze and compile information of various kinds into a useful format for use in Aerojet's planning and program performance 10%-May analyze data to evaluate program performance with respect to financial performance, technical performance, schedule performance or other area as needed by the Program Manager. 10%-May perform compatibility planning analysis and evaluation. 10%-May work directly with other organizations (like Operations or Supply Chain) in assisting in gathering program information, program status or in meeting program goals. 10%-Responsible for administration and contract performance of program elements under the direction of a Program Manager or Manager of Programs who has full authority. This is an entry level position that requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline. Basic understanding of the aerospace industry, projects and business environments. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).
