Position Details:APOs perform all functions of the Project Officer as needed.  They act as the Government's representative responsible for the overall quality management oversight of all actions taken by the maintenance contractors.  They are responsible supervising all levels of supply, maintenance and transportation.  APOs must understand not only his/her specific functions but also understand the contract requirements that the contractors work to.  This ensures on behalf of the Government Project Officers that the best possible product is being given back to the troops.  All of BAE's APOs must be technically proficient in inspection, and repair of all major end items and assemblies, they must know supply systems, and must be proficient in WMMS.  Qualifications: Minimum of 5-10 years as a supervising mechanic and/or 5 plus years as a QAR on military wheeled or tracked vehicles. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
