Sensis currently has an opening for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer/Process Engineer within our Air Traffic Systems team in Syracuse, NY.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Work with R&D in the review of new designs to ensure design for manufacturability.Participate in the evaluation of proposed and existing designs and processes for manufacturability with associated recommendations for improvements.Work with manufacturing facilities to identify and lead continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.Participate in the development of solutions and action plans to address quality and production improvements. Analyze product or equipment specification and performance requirements to determine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.Participate in vendor qualification and on going vendor fitness assessments.Utilize root cause analysis methods and statistical tools to resolve processing issues.Uses statistical methods to determine in-control/out-of-control processes.Conduct compliance and failure investigations. Research solutions to complex technical problems and recommend cost effective resolutions.Participate in identifying key process parameters and their impact on the process and the product quality. Participate in the development and execution of equipment installation and operational qualifications.Participate in the development and execution of process validations.
