Career Opportunity – Accounting Specialist Location:  Lynnwood Job Number:  RA08R103543 Job Category:  Finance Product Solution:  n/a Essential Job Functions: Under the direction of the Credit & Collections Manager, the Collections Clerk will be responsible for ensuring that their customer base is paying within the invoice due dates.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Will collect, manage and provide resolution of outstanding invoices from past due accounts to maintain the appropriate DSO and Aging Targets. Assist in performing cash application function. Prepare month-end closing Journal Entries for Bad Debt expense, Commissions Expense, Advanced Payments to customers and Eldec AEP AR reclass. Participate in weekly collections call. Identifying repeated billing issues and taking proactive steps to correct. Maintaining strong, effective working relationships with and all levels of management to ensure customers' disputes are resolved and handled appropriately while at the same time maintaining customer relations. Ability to work under pressure with limited supervision. Respond timely to customer billing inquiries received from internal and external customers. Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
