FPGA V&V Software Application Engineer –

Responsibilities:

FPGA type (ACTEL, XILINX, etc.) -- PLD Altera 2. FPGA function (DSP, switch, etc.) -- Address decode, small state machine 3. Verification method -- Vector tests on breakout PCB, the vectors are generated from modelsim test bench.

 Dev/Test environment -- Pattern generator and logic analyzer.

Verify FPGA Design
 Develop & test needed software/firmware to support projects

 Experience in a lead position giving guidance to other engineers is helpful
 Assist in the preparation of software/firmware application notes, data sheets and product briefs, working with Engineering.
 Execute test vectors prepare test reports
complete test plans and procedures
Required Skills:
* Minimum of 2-5 years FPGA App/Design or V&V experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Technical writing experience is a plus
* Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize issues and tasks
* Ability to adapt quickly to change and work in a rapidly changing environment
*Qualified candidates must have 2+ years experience.
*B.S. Electrical Engineering or related field mandatory.
