Currently we have an opening for an ALIS Administrator at our Fort Worth, Texas site.  Specifically we are seeking someone to serve both as a Systems and Network Administrator for the F35 Joint Strike Fighter program.

 

The Systems Administrator component of the position will support and maintain multiple Microsoft Windows 2003 servers, Microsoft Active Directory, and LAN and WAN infrastructure for a production environment.  The successful candidate will be responsible for performing software and hardware updates which will require strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.  In addition, he/she will perform updates to Firewalls as necessary and troubleshoot firewall/network issues.


Duties:

 Loading and supporting system software upgrades/patches, verifying that services/applications, development tools and databases packages are running, and maintaining them in accordance with established policies, procedures and service level agreementsMonitoring and tuning systems to achieve an optimum level of performance.  Coordinating mission efforts with Network Engineering, System Engineering, and Project Engineering staffPerforming review of system security, system and application event logs, performing backups to systems, and performing firmware and OS upgrades as required, as well as configuring, monitoring, and maintaining intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and VPNsRestoring infrastructure at offsite disaster recovery siteApplying hardware and software changes to production systems during maintenance windowsMust be willing and able to work after hours and weekends as required 

Requirements:

 Three-plus years’ experience with Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Active Directory, configuration and administration. DNS, DHCP, Wins, IIS, and Terminal Server administrationProficiency with Checkpoint FirewallKnowledge of Virtualization technology, VMWare design, architecture, and deployment of VM’s desiredKnowledge of SAN technologies desired 

The Network Administrator component of the position will be responsible for the day to day operation of the network infrastructure of the ALIS network and will ensure that it is performing optimally.  The successful candidate will perform analyses to find and resolve sub-optimal performance within the network and will install, configure and maintain network devices such as switches and firewalls.

 

Duties:

 Maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting the Microsoft network, switches and firewallsDetermining causes of problems with network software/hardware and implementing corrective actionMaintaining security on all network systems 

Requirements:

 Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification preferred or willingness to pursue MCSECNE or CAN certification desiredA+ certification desiredIn depth knowledge of IPsec Tunnels and experience with network protocols/services and network infrastructures 

In compliance with Department of Defense and Department of State standards related to this work, you must be a U.S. Citizen in order to work on this program.  In addition, the ideal candidate will have an active Secret Clearance or at a minimum, the ability to obtain an interim.
