AERODYNAMICS ENGINEERDescription: VOLT is seeking qualified individuals to work at the World Leader in Aerospace and Aircraft Engineering located in Philadelphia, PA and with Loads and Dynamics / Aerodynamics Engineering team. JOB DUTIES: Working knowledge of Aerodynamic analysis and design principles, processes, method and tools for flight vehicles is required. This group is involved in rotorcraft performance calculation, air-loads analysis, wind tunnel and flight testing. Knowledge of rotorcraft Aerodynamics is desired. At least 4 years work experience of wind tunnel pressure model, and flight testingJOB SKILLS: Meet the basic engineering requirements- be degreed preferably in Aerospace. Computer skills are essential. Have a working knowledge of Unix system. At least 4-5 years of Aircraft or Rotorcraft Loads and Dynamics experience is required. Familiarity with FEA and FEM analysis tools such as PATRAN, NASTRAN. Ability to produce formal reports Solve flutter and vibration problems Experience with MSC Nastran/ Patran/ Flight Loads is a plus.
