Position purpose: The eLearning Developer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing intuitive web-based training and eLearning programs for external public relations clients and internal customers, including the client services and sales teams.
Main Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Create online materials including contributing substantive materials for web based courses, web pages and Help Center as required
• Create, review, deliver, and revise instructional content based on feedback from professional services staff, sales staff, and clients/end-users
• Support training consultants and professional services staff in developing learning content. Develop knowledge of multiple Cision products, processes and audiences in order to use skill set in the production of training content
• Review all end-user materials for completeness, accuracy based on the Cision applications, and consistency with the design
• Continuously analyze current training methodology and tools to create improvements and better results
• Work with sales staff to create and manage client-branded web sites/portals
• Research and stay current on industry standard tools used to produce online training materials
and documentation.
• Continuously evaluate results and effectiveness of the full suite of Cision online training tools
• Other duties and special projects as assigned
Experience:
• 3-6 years experience in eLearning design and development in a technology environment
• 3+ years of delivering training and/or support services to professional audiences
• Experience with Public Relations/Media and/or education, Instructional Design, and Adult Learning Principals
• Working knowledge of Macromedia Dreamweaver 3.0 or higher, D/HTML ASP, JavaScript, Adobe, Flash, Captivate, Microsoft LiveMeeting, WebEx, and CRM Solutions is a plus
• Bachelor's degree required Master’s degree a plus
