Windows Administrator

Summary of Position:

Advertising Company seeks a systems engineer to work with a team.  This position is a key member of a team responsible for the Company’s (Microsoft Active Directory), Storage Area Network (SAN), Physical, Citrix Infrastructure, and Exchange administration, monitoring, ongoing systems analysis and troubleshooting consistent with service delivery requirements.

 

The candidate must have working knowledge, skills and ability to manage Enterprise Microsoft Windows Active Directory domains and provide system administration.

 

The candidate will develop and maintain detailed documentation and be comfortable handling all level of systems administration/engineering tasks and troubleshooting complex systems challenges throughout the enterprise. 

 

The candidate must be a strong team player who is able to work within a collaborative environment

 

 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

· Windows 2003/20008 Server/Advanced Server Administration

· Strong VMware and virtualization experience

· Must have a strong customer service orientation and a strong sense of initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Solid understand of DHCP and networking protocols

· Cisco is a plus

 

Education:

· BS/BA (technical degree preferred) or equivalent and 5 plus years experience as a systems administrator

· MCSE Certification preferred
