Web Production Artist

  Web Production Artist   As a member of the Creative Services team, you will work with Senior Graphic Designers to help VistaPrint evolve its web site by creating new page layouts, UI elements and localized graphics. Create original graphics and updated page layouts, with a focus on customer experience, usability and merchandising. Contribute creative energy to maintain fresh visual design.   Primary responsibilities include: - Help maintain and update existing web pages - Help create mockups for new page designs - Support internationalization/translations of new and existing web pages and graphics - Maintain web graphic directories in content management tool - Create graphics updates for monthly merchandising and localization needs - Execute design concepts into mock-ups for final web pages - Design effective content layout for continuous improvement of usability - Participate in creative brainstorming sessions - Create illustrations and icons - Contribute to the overall mission of the Web, specifically in the areas of usability and merchandising. - Support implementation of web and content strategies Qualifications: Web design & digital portfolio examples required. Candidates will be required to provide links to online samples/web site. - BFA, Graphic Design Degree or related field - 1-3 years of web design/development production experience - Must have solid experience with Photoshop and ImageReady - Experience with software tools such as Illustrator.
