Web Developer - XHTML/CSS and Javascript; SEO/PPC

Plaudit Design is a growing firm specializing in custom websites and Internet marketing.

This is your opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and become immersed in projects where you contribute your strengths as an expert developer. You will create custom websites in a small team based on client objectives and project requirements. Throughout the project you will focus on XHTML/CSS production, Javascript coding and the integration of web-based systems.

Responsibilities

Convert designs into XHTML/CSS templates.

Develop Javascript animations and interactive components (e.g., using JQuery).

Work with an entry level developer to create content pages that use the developed templates.

Coordinate with project's graphic designer.

Perform search engine optimization (SEO) research, implementation and maintenance.

Create and manage pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns.

Analyze and optimize website traffic.

Launch websites.

Communicate with the client.




Requirements

Expert knowledge of XHTML and CSS

Skilled in the use of Javascript

Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator

Able to work independently and in collaboration with others

Capable of working concurrently on several projects

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Enthusiasm and creativity to provide original ideas and plans

Interpersonal skills to work directly with clients and team members

Experience using Linux, Apache, Jboss, and Java is a plus
