Reports to the Sr. Web Director. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in web design to… Work in tandem with Sr. Web Director to establish the creative vision for coach.com user Responsible for the look and feel exploration, conceptual and visual development, and final execution of design directions Lead brainstorming sessions and the development and execution of those ideas (i.e.: lifestyle environments, shopping experiences, new sites, etc) Oversee the creative design and execution of all portal advertising needs (banners, content modules, etc.) Integrate company branding, video, animation, still images, text and audio into a web environment that ensures a cohesive Coach image Responsible for partnering with Sr. Web Director on the development of ideas and presentation of new initiatives to business parents in each channel (i.e. coach.com business team). Oversee the maintenance of design standards, guidelines, and best practices. Communicate design rationales and respond to internal and client feedbackThe accomplished individual will possess… Must be articulate, organized and attentive to deadlines Must be adept at problem solving and communicating issues clearly with production, graphic, marketing and technical personnel Ability to handle multiple priorities (quickly and efficiently) with tight deadlines Understanding of customer priorities and desire to strive to exceed expectations. Ability to think outside the boxAn outstanding professional will have… Minimum 7-8 years art direction, with a focus on web and interactive design 2-3 years of managerial experience Strong knowledge of latest web and traditional design standards Advanced knowledge of: Photoshop/ImageReady, Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS & FTP protocol preferred. Extras – Quark Express and Adobe InDesign. Must be experienced using MAC platform.
