This individual will expand the services of the firm’s award-winning corporate branding communications team that includes individuals with expertise in corporate counsel, business-to-business marketing, internal communications, research, design, and digital communications. He or she also will help to develop and serve clients on a national basis. Responsibilities This position will be responsible for the day-to-day project management, business development and oversight of cutting- edge branding and integrated communications programs for a variety of clients. He or she will frequently work with account teams from other FH offices and other branding consultants and agencies who work in partnership with Fleishman-Hillard.This individual’s success will be measured by new client wins; client satisfaction; development of successful, high-impact programs; the ability to work as an effective leader and collaborative team member; and the ability to serve as a creative, thoughtful source of current best practices in all aspects of brand strategy, development, and communications. Qualifications • A minimum of 10 years of integrated marketing communications and corporate branding experience; experience developing and articulating a core brand positioning strategy for a variety of high-profile companies and organizations is a must. • Skilled communicator with a deep foundation of experience in a broad range of corporate communications, including executive positioning, media relations, employee communications, and issues management. Experience in community relations, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability is a plus. • Current expertise in business-to-business communication for one or more of the following sectors: retail, technology, healthcare, professional services, education, and/or manufacturing is preferable; however, prior experience in product marketing, brand architecture, brand research, interactive strategies, or brand launch and implementation is highly desirable. • Ability to direct research and interpret and apply the results to develop messages and approaches that convey a company’s value and differentiate it from others in the competitive field. • Ability to synthesize complex integrated marketing communications aimed at segmented audiences across all disciplines—advertising, direct mail, promotion, employee communications, social media, and public relations. • Proven ability to lead major client engagements, set priorities, and a willingness to take ownership. • Possess a high level of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm, as well as vision and creative problem-solving skills. • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to work as a part of a team in the development of programs and presentations. • Excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills. • Adept at developing and managing client relationships, budgets, and resources. • Results-focused approach and commitment to go the extra mile for clients. • Strong ability to interface directly with clients and senior executives. • Attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.Fleishman-Hillard is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
