VP of Marketing Startegy

VP strategist to partner with Account and Creative Leadership to drive strategic rigor and insights into the overall client business.   Our industries include government, telecommunications, technology and financial services.

Experienced marketing strategist sought to set priorities and define innovative and highly effective marketing strategies for Fortune 500 clients.  Excellent client management, strategic thinking and business communication skills required 

 

·  Perform detailed evaluation of client business environment including customer needs, capabilities/assets, brand ambitions and competitive realities to identify unique market opportunities and threats

·  Lead the design of insight driven cross-discipline (PR, TV, print, events, digital, direct marketing) CRM/engagement strategies from opportunity identification through to plan definition.  Structure and present recommendations to senior client leadership as necessary

 

·  Partner closely with client and internal teams to lead strategic thinking and priority setting, mobilization against strategies and ensure their success 

 

 Qualifications

 

·  prior agency strategy experience a plus

 

· 10+ years experience in strategy consulting and/or marketing strategy across multiple industries with specific experience within government, financial services, technology and telecommunications a plus

 

·  Strong passion for and experience in all facets of marketing including direct and interactive disciplines

 

·  Exceptional team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence quickly.  Highly collaborative approach required

 

·  Excellent presentation and deck writing skills

 

·  Ability to thrive in a fluid and, at times, complex environment
