Treasury Analyst

Philadelphia Media Holdings, LLC, owner of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News, Philly.com and related online products, as well as Broad Street Publications, has an immediate opening for a TREASURY ANALYST. 

 

This position manages the daily cash situation of the company and reports directly to the Treasurer. Position will perform the following:  determine day-to-day investment and borrowing needs, while maintaining both a short term and long term focus; produce daily cash flow statements, including liquidity forecasting, cash flow forecasts and analyzing cash flow trends; analysis of cash management fees.  The Analyst will also be responsible for preparing journal entries related to interest payments and accruals and debt payments; recommend debt payments for all loans and interest; internal and external Treasury reporting and other related duties as assigned.  The successful candidate will be integral to the company’s direction.

 

Qualifications include:  four year college degree in Finance or related field; 2-3 years finance experience; working knowledge of cash management and forecasting proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Outlook.  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; attention to details and ability to work independently are required.  In exchange for hard work and dedication, we offer an excellent compensation and benefits package and opportunity to learn and grow.
