ITT Space Systems Division seeks a Thermal Analysis Engineer for its Ft. Wayne, IN, location. The successful candidate would perform thermal control system thermal analysis in support of the design of large ground and space-based electro-optical imaging systems. This position would require the candidate to be part of a team as well as be an individual contributor. 1) B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 0-6 yrs experience or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 0-4 yrs experience.2) Strong background in thermal principles, and a passion for an analytical approach to problem solving.3) Good verbal and written communication skills.4) Thermal analysis experience using SINDA or equivalent code.5) Experience in radiation heat transfer using Thermal Desktop or equivalent.6) Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.7) Strong desire for computer work and interest in learning software tools. 8) This position may require the passing of both a background investigation and polygraph to achieve a variety of compartmented national security clearances.
