Technology Manager / Lead Developer
Qualifications
As a Technology Manager/Lead Developer, you'll manage the technological aspects of a project as well be in hands-on development and architecture. You'll assess concept feasibility and write technical design documents. You will lead technical development and implementation.
Job Experience
› 5 + years of working experience in Web development and architecture design
› Thorough understanding of the Web application/solution development lifecycle, methodologies and best practices
› Demonstrated ability in developing application/web architecture from functional and business requirements
› Development Proficiency in multiple languages including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS2, XML/XSLT, .NET VB/ASP, JSP or PHP, SQL
› Knowledge of a diverse range of web technologies and platforms, including:
› Web and Application Servers (WebLogic, Websphere, JRun, Apache, etc.)
› Code constructs (HTML, DHTML, Flash ActionScript, XML, JSP, ASP, JavaScript, WML)
› Development Tools and Environment
› 3rd party solutions (CMS, Personalization, CRM, Financials)
› Objected Oriented Design and Service Oriented Design
› Experience in management of internal technology resources and contractors
› Client management experience, experience in working in an interactive agency or agency model a plus
Education
› A Bachelor’s degree required, preferably a Bachelor’s of Science in a technology or computer related discipline
Skills
› Designing high-level scalable and robust web solutions using the various technologies
› Managing the full life-cycle of development lifecycle and delivering on time and on budget
› Estimating project resources and schedule from a technical perspective
› Structuring and contributing to the overall corporate technical methodologies
› Presentation of technical deliverables such as frameworks, application architecture, and technology POVs/whitepapers
› Coordinating a team of developers and contractors
› Hands-off development and design
Client
› Interfacing and communicating with clients on issues relating to technology
› Building the client relationship from a technology perspective
› Travel to client sites to participate in various requirements, design, and development meetings. Travel up to 25%.

› Ability to keep calm under pressure and be focused
› Flexible and adaptive to various issues and client requests
