Technical Team Leader/Systems Architect

TECHNICAL TEAM LEADER / SYSTEMS ARCHITECT 

 

OVERVIEW

 

The Technical Team Leader / Systems Architect is a senior member of the MRM NY Technology team.  This person is an active participant on the team providing thought leadership for MRM NY’s clients. This role involves complex and unique technical problems, and requires the ability to collaborate with the account, strategy, project management and creative team leaders.  The Technical Team Leader / Systems Architect will be required to exude extensive technical knowledge of multiple subject areas. This role requires ingenuity and creativity. The Technical Team Leader / Systems Architect also functions as the team leader for the technology staff and has experience managing/directing teams of up to 10 people.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

As a member of the MRM NY Technology Team, the Technical Team Leader / Systems Architect is responsible for:

  Lead the technical development team Participate in systems architecture discussions with the client and 3rd party vendors Work with project managers on project staff planning

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  10+ years of complex software engineering experience in progressively challenging roles 5+ years web development experience, including proven skill sets in server and client side programming Experience with web frameworks Experience with FLASH and Action Scripting a plus Experience with multi-tiered enterprise scale web platforms Experience with integrating systems using web services or other integration technologies. Experience with Web 2.0 architectures and Social Platforms Experience with consolidating multiple web sites onto a centralized platform Experience in Web/Internet technology, HTML, XML/XSLT, JAVA, JSP, AJAX, CSS, .NET Experience with industry leading application servers, Portals, and CMS such as BEA, WebSphere, Documentum Demonstrated ability to deliver through entire lifecycles Passion for delivering high quality products Driven to achieve a high level of client and customer satisfaction Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences Experience working in an agency environment with cross-functional teams from multiple departments
