Technical Recruiter (Entry Level with Potential)

Entegee the technical staffing division of MPS Group (NYSE as MPS) seeks dynamic people to work within the recruitment operation of our company. A technical recruiter is responsible for the qualification and development of a technical workforce to be placed on contract technical job assignments. Entegee temporary employees work throughout New England and other eastern U.S. locations. Through intensive use of the telephone you will speak to multiple candidates in order to qualify their abilities, employment status and personality attributes of a diverse technical background within engineering, design and manufacturing disciplines.

Although the position is entry-level you must possess certain abilities to be successful. You need to possess an assertive personality but be able to communicate with people in a manner that develops relationships.  The ability to learn quickly and have an excellent memory are critical to be successful. A mentoring environment exists within the group to assist you with the learning process but you must be able to retain what you are exposed to.

Excellent communication skills are required to obtain employment status, describe assignments, negotiate compensation and complete reference checks. Strong writing skills are needed in order to prepare resumes that best present a candidates credentials. Superior organizational skills, the ability to multi-task are essential to track the many segments of the recruitment process.

The staffing industry is fast-paced, stressful, competitive business. To succeed you need to bring a strong work ethic, a sense of humor and the willingness to work in a team environment.

A college degree is preferred (but not required) and 1-2 years of experience in a service related environment is beneficial. The ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, email and the Internet are necessary.
