Technical Architect/Developer, Technical Guru
DigitalDay is looking for a highly talented Technical Architect/Developer with the ability to design and develop complex, enterprise-class web sites and web-enabled applications and lead technical development teams comprised of front-end CSS developers and Web Application Developers.
You will be passionate about web standards, accessibility and creating great web 2.0 sites. The ideal candidate will be confident, proactive and experienced and will have an online portfolio of solid Web Application Development.
You must be able to communicate effectively with other developers, designers and information architects.
You will take an active interest in all web technologies and developments, be able to provide advice and guidance on how best these can be used and play well with others.
Responsibilities- On-plan delivery of the technology component of projects- Scoping and Architecting solutions - Providing Technical guidance and consulting to clients, to help them understand key technology tradeoffs and make informed decisions. - Identify and take ownership of all Technical aspects of a project- Assure the overall Technical quality of the solution- Ability to lead multiple projects at the same time; strong multi-tasking skills- Contributing and communicating best practices and Technical strategy throughout the firm.- Experience designing large-scale Architectures, using standard-based web technologies such as XML, J2EE and .NET- Ability to estimate scope of projects and time requirements for technical deliverables
Qualifications- Strong experience with MOSS 2007 and another Content Management System.- Strong experience in presentation layer technologies including deep understanding of Flash and AJAX technologies- Experience with two or more of the following applications categories: Desktop Application Development, E-Commerce and enterprise application integration.- Experience with multiple languages including VB.NET, C#, Java and SQL
