Position summary:

The primary role of the Survey Programmer is to understand the client requirements for analysis and tabulation of the Market Research data using proprietary tools to create tabulation programs, run data cleaning programs and monitor data integrity.

 

Responsibilities: Provide all programming and technical services needed in support of online questionnaire programming. Interact with clients on project specifications; Provide post delivery support.Interact with project managers about programming and technical requirements of projects.Interpret project needs and requirements, develop and debug web-based survey programs, and perform maintenance as needed throughout the lifecycle of project.Review survey questionnaires and formulate recommendations to ensure efficient programming and optimal data layout.Completing projects on time and/or notifying appropriate staff with alternate plans when necessary. Must be able to program client research surveys in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.

 

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.Intermediate-level knowledge of SQL, HTML, Javascript, ASP and VBscript. Survey Programming experience desired.Experience with NEBU, Confirmit, SPSS, or other online programming software is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communications skillsStrong organizational, communication skills, and attention to detail are required.Must have the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects for on time deliveryCommitted to extended work hours when necessary to reach goals.
