Our rapidly growing Seattle office is currently looking for a Studio Manager to join our team. If you have design and production management experience in an agency or high-tech environment we’d like to talk with you.

 

The Job

As Studio Manager, you will play an important role in coordinating and managing project management and all studio production work.

 

The Successful Candidate

You will have worked for an agency or in-house design and production department in the past.  You are self-motivated and team-oriented.  Your exceptional verbal and written communications skills, leadership savvy, ability to deal with ambiguity, and preference for a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role. 

 

Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise project management staff and production staff including developers, production artists, mechanical artists and proofreadersOversee Scheduling and Estimating by project management staffSchedule studio workflow to meet required deadlinesCoordinate with teams locally and abroad to ensure timely delivery

· Identify and implement departmental policies and initiatives to streamline internal processes, improve communications and maintain an environment that inspires creativityMaintain quality control processesFacilitate communication links between studio and creative, and account and productionCollaborate with Director and Creative Directors to determine staffing needs and ensure ideal staffing levels are maintainedOversee and manage the hiring and on-boarding of freelancers in coordination with HR

· Oversee studio operations including ordering supplies, maintenance and ordering of equipment

· Oversee research and implementation of new software and technologies throughout the Impact department, in conjunction with the Director, Information TechnologyCoordinate with Impact Director to monitor costs and meet monthly revenue targets

 

Required Skills

· Previous experience working in capacity as a Studio Manager

· Proficient in both Mac and PC

· Expertise in MS Office and Adobe CSEntrepreneurial spirit – ready to take initiative to make improvements in studio operationsStrong people skillsDetail-orientedSolid technical knowledgeAbility to meet high standards for quality and accuracyAbility to prioritize, organize and multi-task effectivelyAble to take directions and generate clear instructions

 

Preferred QualificationsBA/BS degreeGraphics art and/or digital and print production background

· Excellent and professional communication skills
