Description of Purpose

Workgroup’s Purpose

Sales/Client Services: Manage the post sales relationship to customers of Vantage Media services.

Job’s Purpose

Strategic Account Manager: Provide service launch expertise, as well as on-going proactive, reactive, and general account management services to assigned strategic customers.  Drive customer satisfaction while consistently looking for up-sell or cross sell revenue opportunities.

· Excellent verbal, written, project management and computer/technical skills.  

· Ability to manage and communicate with clients, while focusing on overall customer satisfaction.

· Proven experience of interfacing with senior levels/titles within client organizations.

· Demonstrated cross-group collaboration skills.  Ability to drive projects to completion (internally and externally).

· Proven problem solving and analytical skills, preferably in a customer relationship or account management role.

· Commitment to service quality and attention to detail.

 

Core Responsibilities:

· Drive and maintain high customer satisfaction.

· Single point of contact for managed clients during standard business hours.

· Responsible for managing new customer implementations as assigned, and collaborate with client to develop new programs to achieve client budget and grow business.

· Understand and articulate a client’s business, including their systems and operational procedures, and their overall priorities and objectives.

· Proactively monitor VM performance against customer forecast, budgets and CPLs, renewing and amending contracts when change is required.

· Identify revenue opportunities for VM with the client, growing their business and spend.

· Proactively and successfully collaborate across internal groups that touch assigned customers.

· Provide timely feedback or escalate to management regarding relevant customer changes or issues.

· Maintain knowledge of industry and VM product offerings in order to effectively support customers.

· Work on assigned special projects as appropriate.   

 

Experience: Strategic Account Managers (SAM): 3-5 years account management experience in a Marketing, PR or Technology firm preferred (but not required).  BA/BS preferred.
