Sr. Flash Developer - Top-Tier Digital Ad Agency

Our client, a top-tier digital ad agency, has been widely recognized as a leader in digital and direct marketing. They have been named Adweek’s Interactive Agency of the Year numerous times and have been one of the first global interactive agency networks and has a global presence with offices scattered worldwide.

Their New York office is looking for a Sr. Flash Developer (Software Engineer) to work on a “big brandâ€� account. This is a 3-month freelance contract (at least 40 hours per week) that can have the successful candidate turn this opportunity into a permanent position.

Responsibilities:



Participate in all parts of software/application development cycle including concept consultation, initial specification, build approach, and scheduling.Generate code according to specifications and business requirements.Fix bugs and unit test new code.Help write Technical documentation according to business and functional specifications.Build, support, and maintain existing web-based Flash applications.

Qualifications:

MUST HAVE - experience as part of a support team of Flash and Creative resources on projects.MUST HAVE - Three to five years of online experience, and a minimum of one year of agency experience. MUST HAVE - 3+ years experience in designing and maintaining web-based Flash Applications using. Adobe Flash with VERY heavy use of ActionScript 2.0/3.0. (Flash video experience a plus).MUST HAVE - experience integrating Flash applications with other client-side and server-side technologies (via XML, etc.).Working knowledge of HTML/DHTML, CSS and JavaScript.Working knowledge of Photoshop.Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with marketing team, creative team, other developers, measurement and analytics team, and support staff during the life-cycle of a project.Experience debugging and troubleshooting code problems.Team player, seasoned in working under very tight deadlines.Extremely detail oriented and highly organized.Comfortable with PC and Mac environments.
