Other job requirements: • Strong Communications skills – this position is expected to interface with senior executives in the company as well as customers. • Solid understanding of key online service design principles: scalability, flexibility, security, robustness, componentization, etc. • 10 Years of proven experience in large-scale systems architecture, design, and development. • Must be able to conceptualize, define, and develop complex data architecture solutions for Internet-based services. Must have demonstrated experience in but not limited to the following areas: Large systems design and structuring; logical database design; application to database integration; heterogeneous distributed systems design and integration. • 5 Years in Web Services design, including Database architecture considerations. Experience with .NET and SQL Server a significant plus. • Proven experience in building, retaining, and growing teams. Given that this position will manage a team of both application and database architects, candidates are expected to have solid management experience, especially in managing very senior technical employees.
