Software Licensing, Asset Inventory and Recovery Analyst I

This position will be responsible for the purchasing and inventory of all company software, software maintenance and equipment maintenance through the proper PO process with approvals from required members of management. Will monitor corporate agreements and keep inventories of all software keeping the company within legal guidelines. The position will also be responsible for entering and assisting in maintaining inventory of all technical and non technical, capital and non capital Information Technology equipment in all locations across Yellowbook. Will be responsible for all asset recovery/asset disposals by means of general disposal, sale or donation and will follow specific company as well as SOX compliance guidelines. Position will work with outside sources/vendors to sell useful equipment with a monetary value remaining.

1. Support Yellowbook Enterprise Agreements such as Microsoft. Will attend meetings to assist in negotiating corporate contract agreements for large volume software licensing. Will work to obtain better discounts and more manageable inventories. Will give input into decisions regarding contracts, etc. Take responsibility for the Vendor Agreement terms and conditions.
2. Purchase, under supervision of management, all software licenses and maintenance agreements in accordance with the Purchasing and Software policies and procedures. This will include single user licenses as well as multi-user or enterprise agreements across all business units in all locations.
3. Enter and assist in maintaining and coordinating the software license inventory, software maintenance inventory and equipment maintenance inventory in all business units and all locations across Yellowbook.
4. Enter and maintain (coordinate) inventory of all technical and non technical IT equipment with Technical Support and Engineering via the Purchase Orders.
5. Will be responsible for the disposal of all IT related equipment by means of general disposal, sale or donation with the assistance from Technical Support and Engineering groups. Will track all disposals as required by Yellowbook to meet or exceed EPA and SOX compliance.
6. Will work with outside sources to sell useful equipment with a monetary value, creating revenue on equipment no longer being utilized by Yellowbook.

Two year college degree required.
One – two years job related experience required.
This person should have proven knowledge of software licensing, software terminology, functionality and maintenance, as well as terms and conditions of use on a per seat, per server and enterprise agreement basis in a corporate environment.
Must have knowledge of contract verbiage, terms and conditions as well as proven negotiation skills.
Positions requires knowledge of IT related equipment including but not limited to desktops, laptops, servers, telephony and cell phone equipment.
Must have demonstrated experience dealing with multiple departments within an organization as well as vendors and other outside sources.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication.
