Senior Designer - Limited Designer

The principal responsibility of this position is to design and produce collateral materials for a global sports marketing firm under the direction of the Creative Services Director. The most important attributes required are to be organized, be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously for multiple events and be involved in the coordination of projects and deadlines so deliverables run efficiently and effectively. The incumbent must be able to prioritize multiple assigned tasks, work under pressure, and achieve results in a deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Work with Senior Event Planners to create concepts and collateral materials. We are looking for individuals who can initiate concepts and integrate them with existing content and design elements to create visually appealing pieces. Provide ongoing support for Creative Services projects, including layout, formatting and distribution capabilities. Coordinate with meeting and event planners to ensure all logistics and timetables are met and satisfied events. Coordinate with agencies to produce collateral for special project requests from members of the executive team (i.e. print collateral, brochures, posters, flyers, etc.). Organize, archive and distribute materials to key stakeholders. Assure quality control consistency of messages and styles across the company. Maintain a digital asset library of executive, company, product, and other corporate communications and external information related to projects and activities. Coordinate production of collateral for various executive level communications initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Related Bachelors degree and 3-6 years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience; Strong technical skills in Adobe software (especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), QuarkXPress, and other graphics-related software required for the position. PC platform proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office for Windows, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is necessary. Applicant must understand various graphic formats, and have the ability to design and prepare graphics for print; Extremely detail-oriented, thorough and organized with an ability to keep projects on track and to drive deliverables to completion; Minimum 50 wpm keyboard skills; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Demonstrated flexibility to handle multiple, changing priorities; Ability to adjust quickly in a deadline-driven environment; Must be able to produce and present high quality, visually appealing layouts under the extreme pressure of a live setting and be able to handle stressful situations gracefully; Organized self starter, efficient and detail oriented. Team player who has the ability to think quickly and to anticipate and solve problems quickly and efficiently; Thrives in fast paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines; Experience delivering results through independent thinking and action.
