We are currently seeking a Senior Art Director who will provide strong conceptual thinking, and solid design skills.  Push the boundaries of creative excellence and ensure the delivery of required results. Work with members of the creative department as well as team members from other core departments in order to achieve agency and client goals.

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Execute creative concepts that are on strategy across all B2B and direct marketing media (DM, print, interactive, TV). Generate breakthrough ideas and constantly strive for new, better, and innovative solutions. Willingness to handle more than one assignment at a time. Think strategically. Partner with manager to adapt brands to B2B environment. Manage workflow efficiently and take responsibility for timing and delivery. Apply direct marketing techniques to the job. Develop great work within guidelines and budget of the assignment. Work collaboratively with creative partners, members of creative and core departments. Ability to sell work internally and to clients. Review and sign-off on mechanical proofs on their assignments, such as readers and blueprints. Partner with manager to understand the direct marketing production process, from setting type through to printing of materials. Work with a variety of formats and materials to bring the concept to life. Participate in photo shoots and press runs with some supervision from senior department members. Review and clearly mark up photography for retouching with some supervision from senior department members. Review color separations and provide input to Production with some supervision from senior department members. Stay current with changes in technology and demonstrate technical competence.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:7-10 years experience preferably in an advertising discipline.Experience with B2B clients is a huge plus for this position. Must have a strong portfolio primarily of produced work and some spec work. Must demonstrate a strong sense of design. Must demonstrate experience/knowledge in DM and Print.  Experience with interactive and TV is a plus. Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
