Senior Account Director

Job Description: Merkle Interactive Services  is seeking a Senior Account Director to lead a key, platform account. The Senior Account Director will manage a large, cross functional team, delivering an industry leading solution to a Fortune 500 client. The Senior Account Director will be the face of Merkle for the engagement-matching up with senior-level management for the client. He/she will help develop marketing strategies, lead the team through development and implementation, and work with analysts to measure the impact to the client’s marketing and business goals.  Key Responsibilities:  Identify opportunities to expand the scope of the engagement with the client Develop, manage and execute the strategic account plan Aggressively pursue account goals and objectives Manage account profitability by balancing resources against work plans Coordinate all Merkle activities and deliverables Ensure successful execution of all projects, programs and campaigns Lead project strategy development, determining the correct methodology, processes, deliverables, research and other needed resources for each project Provide tactical best practice recommendations and short-term analysis of campaigns/programs Lead the client team to develop and execute e-mail programs on strategy Monitor client competitor’s email efforts and the latest developments in those programs Partner with other account leaders from Creative, Strategy and Technology to ensure projects are kept on strategy Support the account team to develop overall client strategies and planning resources Responsible for Manager through VP level client relationship development, communication and management Understanding and structuring client objectives and effectively communicating them to internal multi-disciplinary team Motivate and inspire the account team Skills/Requirements: Minimum of 10+ years of overall experience Must have at least 5 years of solid work experience in marketing consulting (ad agency, direct agency), management consulting, CRM or Internet strategy consulting  Interactive and/or email marketing experience BA/BS required with MBA preferred Advanced organizational, time-management and work prioritization skills Superior attention to detail Strong problem solving and analytical skills Top-tier verbal and written communication skills Highly professional demeanor Exceptional ability to develop client relationships Experience in online marketing industry Strong leadership skills Passion to perform in a high pressure, ambiguous environment Strong bias toward action and results oriented activities Desire for learning new skills, expanding experience Exceptional work ethic For IMMEDIATE consideration, please apply here:  https://www.hirebridge.com/application/appchoice.asp?jid=61057
