Sales Coordinator

Our client, the country’s largest internet television carrier, has an opening for their NYC office for a Sales Coordinator. The company’s main concept is to re-connect culturally diverse individuals with media from their native land and others in their community and currently have 250 on-line TV networks.  This position is a support role for their Ad Sales Department and requires a can-do, jump in attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Sales and category development

2. Evaluating current sales efforts and implementing new initiatives to help increase sales revenue

3. Implementing and analyzing research; copy editing and coordinating integrated trade advertising campaigns

4. Developing and managing new business programs and the collateral for sales to help sell these opportunities

5. POV’s on a wide variety of online marketing topics

6. Work closely with Sales team, Marketing, Client Services, Advertising Operations, and other department within the company

7. Assist in the generation and implementation of Marketing and Sales tools and materials

8. Assist in reviewing current and future Ad Sales strategic partnership

9. Any other related projects

 

Education

- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Experience

-1-2 years experience in sales development, marketing, project management or related field.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and analyze customer business information e.g. financial statements, business plans, strategies

- Ability to prioritize & manage multiple projects at one time

- Effective team interaction.
- Self disciplined and motivated
- IT competency
- Ability to learn & use databases and other applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

- Familiarity with Com Score, Nielsen Site Census and Google Analytics preferred.
