CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, is an industry leader providing a broad range of business solutions - including office and residential furniture, corporate relocations, apartment location, trade shows and special events furnishings.  We are looking for an outgoing and energetic addition to our marketing team to fill our entry-level marketing position as a Residential Account Executive in Memphis, Tn.

Position responsibilities include:Developing and expanding existing account base by building relationships; Generation of new business through teleprospecting, cold calling, lead generation, networking, and other outbound marketing activities; Prospecting for new account to a diverse group including Property Management, Corporate Relocation and Real Estate and Insurance industries; and Inventory management and product knowledge

 

Requirements:


The ideal candidate for this position:

• will possess at least 3 years of successful hands-on management experience in running a distribution/warehouse operation of 10 or more employees in a service related industry;
• will have a strong personnel management background of motivating, directing, and developing personnel;
• will have successful history of time management;
• will have a strong commitment to customer service;
• will be computer literate; and
• will have experience with bar-coded inventory management
• must have a basic understanding of how to determine and interpret Profit and Loss Reports
