Research Analyst

 

In this role you will be an essential analytics member of a team that works with client services, project management, and field management professionals on various projects for clients in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.

 

Your Primary Responsibilities will include:

·  Participating in the design of primary market research studies.

·  Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data.

·  Assisting in the writing of the client reports.

·  Evaluating data for accuracy and consistency.

·  Performing requested analysis including; quantitative marketing modeling and volumetric forecasting.

·  Applying statistical methods and/or proprietary models to report accurate results in standard formats. 

·  Comparing raw data and analytic results with relevant history to identify inconsistencies or exceptions for follow-up.

 

Qualifications and Related Skills: 

· B.S., B.A., MBA, MS or equivalent experience in Marketing Research, Statistics or a related advanced degree.   

· Proven ability to analyze and interpret survey based marketing research data.

· Strong Skills in data processing using standard software such as Excel and Access.

· Ability to perform multivariate statistical analyses (e.g. factor analyses, regression, cluster analyses, etc.) using standard analytical software such as SPSS is required.

· Knowledge of SAS, Quanvert, Quantum, Wincross helpful.

· Ability to perform Macro programming using Excel is a plus.

 

Ideal candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills.  Any experience writing market research reports is a plus.  Prior knowledge/work experience in custom marketing research applications is desired (e.g. New Product Development, Concept Testing, Copy Testing, Marketing Volumetric Forecasting, Marketing Mix Modeling, Choice Modeling.
