Relay is offering a one semester, non-paid internship opportunity to students seeking hands-on training within a sports marketing agency in both Chicago & New York offices. Interns will be an integrated part of account and research teams and will have the opportunity to take ownership of many on-going account specific projects. Interns will be asked to conduct competitive intelligence and research and provide administrative support where needed. Interns will have the chance to interact with upper management through structured projects that can be tailored to each intern’s needs. Candidates should be energetic, creative, detail-oriented and work well independently.

Position Responsibilities
- Create monthly Competitive Insights Newsletters for current sponsorship clients
- Conduct research with syndicated research tools (Simmons, Scarborough, ESPN Sports Poll)
- Facilitation of on-going sponsorship account projects
- Assist with ticket management – mailings & online management
- Management of Relay online sponsorship management tools
- Possible event support within the New York market
- Administrative support – shipping, mailing, office supply ordering, travel calendar management, conference room booking

Eligibility Requirements
• Must currently be enrolled in an accredited university, college, or trade school with the ability to receive school credit for an internship
• Basic/Intermediate PC Skills - familiarity with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of the world of sports and sports business
• Strong desire to work in events and/or sponsorship as a career
