Recruitment, Training, and Development Manager
Actively recruit for the Advertising Sales Department. Seek both active and passive job seekers. Attend local job fairs as well as develop relationships with local colleges. Create a customized on-boarding plan for each new hire. Train new advertising sales reps and/or advertising sales coordinators in regards to our internal processes and procedures. Conduct sales training, product training, proposal and presentation training. Develop both new hires and sales staff of tenure. Go out in the field on sales calls.The primary candidate we are seeking would preferably possess direct experience in the newspaper industry. Have a working understanding and knowledge of advertising and sales experience. Have direct recruiting experience for sales executives. The ideal candidate will have high energy, an eye for detail, excellent communication skills both written and oral. In addition, we desire a person that is internet savvy.
