Recruitment & Retention Captain

Albemarle County Fire Rescue is looking for a highly motivated individual to serve our fire rescue system as the Recruitment & Retention Captain.  We need someone who is highly skilled in the technology and marketing fields with abilities to create/manage websites, utilize online survey tools, manage databases to measure recruitment & retention successes, and create online and paper marketing materials to help recruit and retain our dynamic volunteer force.  QUALIFICATIONS: Thorough knowledge of public relations and communications; must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; Experience in market research and analysis, program/project development and implementation is preferred; Education equivalent to a four-year (Bachelor) degree from an accredited college/university with major course work in management, communications, business, psychology, public administration, human resources or related field or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
