Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Adplex has been in business for 27 years.  We are a successful, growing marketing solutions company specializing in strategic direct marketing, online advertising, prepress services, print services and digital asset management with products and services that are currently utilized by companies in Retail, Commercial and Sports Entertainment. We are hiring a Receptionist to join the team at the Corporate Office located in North Houston, at Airtex and I45 North. 

 

The right candidate will bring a positive attitude, professionalism and maturity to the position which is responsible for a number of important duties including, but not limited to:Answer and direct all incoming calls in a pleasant, positive, and upbeat manner;Professionally greet visitors;Order and manage office supplies, copier paper, and toner cartridges; Keep the kitchens, refrigerators and Flavia Coffee Machine stocked, including purchasing soft drinks and snacks that are provided at no charge for team members and visitors;Reserve meeting rooms as requested, set up coffee and beverages for meetings, order breakfast and lunch when required;Send and receive packages, take the outgoing mail to the mailbox, pick up and sort mail everyday;Keep the copier and fax machines stocked with paper;Support team members with administrative duties as requested such as building spreadsheets, typing letters, making copies, putting together binders, filing, etc.;Enter recipes into an online recipe system for a large customer; and,Buy and circulate monthly birthday cards and other cards as needed.

The skills required include:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Word and Excel;Great attitude and willingness to do what it takes to support the team;Maturity, ability to be trusted and reliable; and,Ability to work 8 to 5 or 5:30 Monday through Friday.
