Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst
Our client in Conshohocken has an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join their expanding group! As a member of the Quality Assurance group, the QA Analyst provides testing support and Quality Assurance reviews for multiple projects and products. **Pharmaceutical Marketing Experience is ideal. Prior experience with testing web applications, banner ad’s and multiple browsers is a MUST.** Essential Functions: Create and execute test plans/scripts for all assigned projects, utilizing most appropriate testing methodologies (i.e., functionality, system, regression, editorial, usability, security, web browser compatibility, performance, etc.). Attend all assigned project status meetings. Work with QA Editor/Proofreader to review and approve all assigned project deliverables against project documentation and application specifications prior to client delivery (i.e. Creative Brief, Storyboards, Flowchart, Wireframes, Prototype, Functional Specification, Technical Specification, Alpha & Beta & Final Client Application, etc.). Verify that project deliverables not only pass a stringent set of QA testing criteria, but that they also comply with the projects, clients, and brands objectives, requirements, and standards. Record and monitor through resolution all discovered defects/QA-related issues. Ensure completeness of all QA-related documentation for assigned projects (including, but not limited to, Project Test Plan, Test Result Summary, and Defect Tracking Reports. Assist in the maintenance of QA test lab equipment and tools. Review Flowcharts, Wireframes, HTML Prototypes, Storyboards, Functional Specifications, and Technical Specifications against client/project requirements, client Web standards, usability guidelines, logical progression/flow/practicality. Communicate risks, milestones, and QA progress to Project Manager & team members of assigned projects.MINIMUM Requirements: Exceptional communication & organization skills (both written & verbal). Self-motivated, work well in a team structure or independently and have a good work ethic. Should possess strong risk assessment & analysis skills, be self-motivated, work well in a team environment, & have a good work ethic. Flexible with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with aggressive schedules. Creative problem solver who is extremely well organized and accustomed to maintaining meticulous records. Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices & testing methodologies. Proficiency creating Test Plans & strategies for Internet/intranet/extranet applications and thoroughly documenting all work. Expertise converting project/business requirements into traceable test case scenarios for a variety of Web-based application architectures.**Web QA experience is a must, the candidate will be doing manual testing, need software testing experience.** MINIMUM Education and Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on software QA and testing experience in a formal Web-based application development environment. Experience with Microsoft® applications (Office, Project, Visio, etc.), data validation, writing scripts/queries, & general database operations (SQL Server, SQL, Oracle). Experience testing Web technologies, such as: Web Browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator/Navigator, AOL, MSN, Safari, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, etc.). HTML, ASP, Java (applets, servlets, & applications), JavaScript. Internet Protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, & SMTP). Plug-ins (Macromedia flash, Shockwave*®, Microsoft® Windows Media*® Player, QuickTime*®, RealPlayer*®, etc.). Programming knowledge is a plus, but not required. CQA or CSTE Certification (a plus, but not required). **This is a permanent position. Salary is commensurate with experience.
