Public Relations Account Executive - Remote or On-site

KNB Communication is a highly innovative, fast paced, Public Relations firm with an immediate opening for a PR savvy Account Executive with 3+ years of experience. This is an opportunity for a creative, “out of the box” thinker to grow in a fun yet professional environment. In this position, based at our Norwalk offices, the candidate will work very closely with healthcare experts, healthcare media, and thought leaders to help execute our clients’ PR strategies. Responsibilities and requirements include:
- Develop and execute PR strategies for prominent healthcare/health-tech clients.
- Pitch, network and work closely with the media to optimize our clients’ exposure.
- Attend relevant client meetings to really understand their issues and goals.
- Familiarity with healthcare/health-tech industry and issues is a plus.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Ability to work with and develop media relationships.
- A focused, “can do”, multi-tasker able to work in a team environment.
- Very strong client relationship skills.
- Excellent project management skills coupled with overseeing and meeting of the clients’ need.
- Ability to motivate and lead account and support teams.
- Very organized, well-rounded with professional attitude and solid understanding of PR.
- B.A. in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, and/or Healthcare-related studies.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
- Impeccable grammatical skills and command of the English language.
- Thorough proofreading/editing skills.
