Do you have 3-5 years PR experience, and a real gift for media relations? Boutique agency in downtown has an immediate openings for Account Executives or higher positions to work on travel and/or social marketing accounts. Previous experience on advertising is a plus. The position requires coordination and stewardship of client activity that is being developed across North America; in addition to serving as the key client liaison for regional offices in Los Angeles, New York, and Vancouver.Naturally it requires travel to New York and Vancouver as well as to Southeast Asia leading FAM trips with media. If you can't and don't want to travel this job is not for you. (For Travel Account)Please be a full-on media relations wiz who loves to connect with journalists. Also be a strong planner, great writer, and a generally well-organized person. Happy, team player is imperative since we work in a fast paced and family environment.Responsibilities •   Drive some day-to-day management of specific accounts, including planning and execution, and project management. •   Prepare a full range of written materials including press releases, byline articles, client correspondence and reports. •   Implement account programs and maintaining regular contact with client. •   Develop a thorough understanding and knowledge of clients’ business and their competitive environment. •   Develop editorial/journalistic/media contacts and develop relationships with key media. •   Implement media events, press conferences/briefings and media tours. •   Contribute to the development of account plans. Qualifications:•    3-5 years experience in PR, preferably in an agency setting and/or within the travel or hospitality industry. •    Strong presentation and research skills. •    Ability to drive client relationships•    Solid media relations experience •    Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance priorities •    High level of initiative •    Willingness to travel •    Ability to learn and ramp up quickly on embedded business •    Extensive Project management skills We believe our employees are our greatest assets. We have a great account and a client waiting to be lead by someone with experience and skills. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered along with the opportunity to progress by merit.
