New Mexico announces a new statewide, coordinated long-term care program in which Evercare will be one of two health plans serving close to 40,000 Medicaid recipients. Evercare is a premier clinical care management organization, and collaborates with federal and state leaders to create new programs to serve this population. This program is the culmination of years of planning with the State of New Mexico, and we look forward to building partnerships here with our new members, providers and community organizations. We’re looking for an individual with experience in provider relations and claims to join our new team while working from home in the Northwest Region and servicing providers in the Northwest Region of the state. As the Provider Relations Representative, you would focus on building relationships and educating providers on our Medicaid program. Key responsibilities of the Provider Relations Representative include:Interfacing with the provider community to identify education needs Researching any questions providers have regarding claims, billing and contracts Visiting providers throughout New Mexico Building relationships and providing a high level of customer service Educating providers on our program Running reports to identify trends Requirements include:Experience dealing with the provider community and provider relations Experience with claims systems and claims issue research Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills In addition, ideal assets include:Experience working in the Medicaid environment A Bachelor’s degreeUnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits to full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.
